THEME: “Synergistic Discovery: Advancing Knowledge through Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Collective Inquiry”
The Regional Student Research Colloquium (RSRC) was established in 2022 as a premier platform dedicated to fostering academic excellence, critical thinking, and innovation among student researchers. Conceived and initiated by the University of Baguio through its Research, Innovation, Extension, and Community Outreach (RIECO) office, the colloquium was designed to showcase and elevate student-led research initiatives within the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), serving as a vital incubator for young minds to address localized challenges through scholarly inquiry.
Now in its fourth installation, the 4th Regional Student Research Colloquium marks a milestone year of growth and expansion under RIECO’s continuous leadership. Breaking traditional geographic boundaries, this year’s colloquium extends its reach beyond CAR to encompass the entirety of Luzon.
To accommodate this expanded scope and ensure maximum accessibility for participating institutions, the event will be executed in a hybrid format, seamlessly blending onsite engagement with virtual participation. This flexibility allows student researchers, mentors, and academic panels from across the macro-region to connect and collaborate regardless of their physical location.
Through this activity, participants are empowered to:
Present and discuss the significant findings of their research,
Engage with peers and experts for constructive feedback and potential collaboration,
Strengthen professional and academic networks,
Celebrate the collective achievements and progress of the university’s research community.
By aligning with the theme, the event not only highlights the notable developments and successes of UB researchers but also inspires a culture of continuous learning, partnership, and innovation. This annual gathering reaffirms the University of Baguio’s dedication to advancing research that transcends boundaries and contributes meaningfully to the broader academic and local community.
