ABSTRACT

This study looked into the coping strategies for stress of the students enrolled in board courses of the University of Baguio. The 561 graduating students during the second semester, school year 2007-2008 were taken as respondents. Findings show that the students are aware of the strategies in dealing with stress; they seldom practice these coping strategies; and they perceived these strategies to be effective in managing stress. It was also found out that gender does not vary the perceptions of the students as regards coping strategies for stress.
