The University of Baguio Research and Development Center, part of the research capability program for the students and employees, conducted a webinar on Intellectual Property last March 30, 2022, via Zoom from 8 am to 12 noon.
Engr. Jeanne Dugui-es-Dangkeo, the IP Field Operations Specialist in charge of the IP Satellite Office operations for the Cordillera Administrative Region and the Ilocos Region since 2009, was the webinar speaker. She shared an overview of the Intellectual Property process and the requirements for the different creative works, research output, and products that can be registered for protection.
The event was attended by more than 300 participants, composed of students, employees of UB, and guests. The attendees joined the webinar thru the Zoom application and R & DC Facebook page. Dr. Froilan C. Aspa, the Office of Student Affairs Director, gave the welcoming remarks, while Dr. Isagani A. Paddit, the Director of R & DC, gave the closing remarks.
