ABSTRACT
The research aimed at assessing the level of employment of the graduates of Dentistry, Engineering, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Information and Communications Technology, Law Enforcement Academy, Liberal Arts, and Physical Therapy from School Years 2000 to 2004. The data were gathered through the following: sending the questionnaire through mail, phone interview, text messaging, personal interview, and company visits. Chi-square was used to treat all data collected. The results showed that more than half of the graduates is currently employed, while less than one-fourth has worked in the past. The results also showed that the course of the respondents affect their employment search. There are significant differences in the degree of the relatedness of the jobs to the graduates’ respective courses. Factors such as school, training and skills, personal attributes, influence of the family and friends, economic conditions of the country, and availability of jobs moderately influence the graduates’ employment.
