Winners of Best Student Health Research Gets Award

The Best Student Health Research, now on its 4th year benchmarks the thrust of the university to boost the research skills of the students. The two categories, Health Social Science Research and Health Development Research intend to give recognition to students who conducted excellent studies and exhaustive research in the discipline.

The University of Baguio President Dhanna Kerina B. Rodas, awarded the winners of the Best Student Health Research 2016 at the University of Baguio Gymnasium during the Graduation Ceremony last December 17, 2016. The following were the winners:

BEST STUDENT HEALTH SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH 2016

•    First Place: “Improving the Oral Hygiene of Visually Impaired Children through Voice Memo and Physical Guidance.”

•    Second Place: “Effectiveness of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Exercise Protocol amongst Dental Medicine Students in the University of Baguio.”

BEST STUDENT DEVELOPMENT SCIENCE RESEARCH 2016

•    First Place: “Besodak as Histological Fixative of Biopsy Material.”

•    Second Place: “Sayote (Sechium Edule) Extract as an Antimicrobial Agent in Anti-Acne Cream.”
