ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the influence of family condition of Law Enforcement Academy (LEA) students on their academic performance. Family condition comprises the Socio Economic Status (SES), family structure and family size. A checklist was used to gather the needed data. Academic performance was determined by the Grade Point Average (GPA) from school records. There were five hundred sixty two (562) LEA students included in the study. The study reveals that there is a low correlation of SES and family size to academic performance; while family structure does not affect academic performance.
