ABSTRACT
This study sought to determine the effects of the Master of Science in Criminology Review Program (MSCRP) to BS Criminology in taking the licensure examination. A questionnaire-checklist was used to gather data the needed data. A total of 12 MSCRP students enrolled during the second semester of SY 2005-2006 participated in the study. The students perceived the Master of Science in Criminology Review program as very satisfactory. Among the four (4) areas covered, “Area subject discussed” got the lowest mean of 3.61. This implies that there is a need to cover a wider scope to address the needs in the subjects. The level of board performance of the MSCRP students is fair. This implies that students need to strengthen their study habits to achieve the desired board output. The students encountered moderately difficult problems while undertaking the program. Students face much difficulty in financing their studies and in reading plenty of books and topic outlines. The formulated action plan is strongly recommended for adoption and implementation.
