Webinar on Research Conceptualization

The conceptualization of the research webinar is the start of the series of research capability trainings of the R & DC office to the students and employee researcher/s. It is a part of the outreach and extension activity to educate the community on the importance of topic identification, reviewing the literature, formulating research objectives, developing hypotheses, and developing a framework as the first phase of research.  Dr. Thea P. Suaco, the School Research Anchorperson, UB Science High School faculty member, and the University Research Board-Institutional Research Committee, was the speaker.  It was attended by students of different schools/departments in UB, including faculty members and non-teaching staff. Guests from MPSPC of Bontoc, Concepcion Holy Cross College- Tarlac, Urdaneta City, and Calamba, Laguna, also attended the activity. It was held last October 8, 2022, via Zoom application which accommodated 500 attendees. Participants who were not accommodated in the Zoom application were encouraged to view the webinar on the FB page of the Research and Development Center. A total of 578 accomplished the pre-assessment and 711 respondents in the evaluation form.
