ABSTRACT
The Major Purpose of the study was to determine the presence of soil-transmitted parasites in vegetable washings. The existence of soil-transmitted parasites was determined by preparing concentrates from vegetable washings, then microscopic examination of the concentrates followed. A total of 25 vegetable samples were examined, 4 of which (or 16%) of the total samples were contaminated with parasitic ova or larvae.
