KABADANG 3.0 Cardinals Edition

In partnership with the Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera Administrative Region as part of its Kabadang 3.0 Research Publication Capacity Building under the Academy for Higher Education Faculty Members’ Advancement and Development (AHEAD) Cordillera Program, the training served as an opportunity for first stage faculty researchers to be mentored by identified pool of experts in the Region.

Through the initiative and program of the CHED-CAR, headed by Dr. Jimmy Catanes and VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Janice Kaylyn Lonogan, and in coordination with UB Research and Development Center headed by Dir. Isagani Paddit, the Kabadang 3.0 Cardinals section was organized and implemented. The employees of the different UB schools with completed, ongoing and submitted CRP’s were invited to attend.

The seminar-workshop is a 5-day (May 30, 2022 – June 3, 2022) activity held at the UB gymnasium attended by 50 faculty and non-teaching staff participants. The seminar sessions on the different research topics were on the following: Review of Related Literature, Research Writing to Publication, Publication Guidelines, Practical angle writing in academic publication, and Digital toolkits from the different mentors where the participants revised and updated their research papers. The research final output was submitted to the mentors for checking and eventual publication.
