Research In-Service Training Seminar-Workshop

In-service training in schools for teachers is given importance as to equip with new knowledge and skills for them to face new challenges and reforms in education (Jala, 2022). In today’s dynamic research environment, staying updated on state-of-the-art methodologies, ethical considerations influenced by advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), publication norms, and statistical analysis software is crucial. As the University of Baguio strives for excellence through research and innovation, the Research Innovation Extension and Community Outreach will conduct a two-day INSET Seminar-Workshop to equip both teaching and non-teaching employees with necessary research related skills and or knowledge. This seminar-workshop aims to address key aspects of modern research methodologies, ethical practices, and technological advancements. By participating in these sessions, researchers can bolster their research skills, uphold ethical integrity, and proficiently utilize advanced tools, thereby fostering impactful and credible research outcomes in their respective fields.

With this, the seminar-workshop directly contributes to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of the country. Specifically, SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The University of Baguio maintains its commitment to promoting excellence and perfection in the field of research and innovation.
