Webinar on Intellectual Property Rights and JAMOVI Application for Students

The Webinar on Intellectual Property Rights and JAMOVI Application for Students is an initiative and organized by the Research Innovation Extension and Community Outreach (RIECO), to equip students with essential knowledge in two key areas:

  • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): this educates students on the fundamental principles of IPR, highlighting its importance in protecting their creative and academic works. This knowledge is critical, especially for students involved in research and innovation, as it ensures they understand their rights and responsibilities regarding their intellectual creations. It fosters a culture of innovation while emphasizing the ethical use and protection of intellectual property.
  • JAMOVI Application: This segment of the webinar focuses on familiarizing students with JAMOVI, an open-source statistical software that simplifies statistical analysis. By providing hands-on experience with JAMOVI, students can enhance their research capabilities, enabling them to conduct more accurate and comprehensive data analysis. This is particularly beneficial for students with research subjects, as it strengthens their technical skills and contributes to producing high-quality academic work.

The webinar supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by offering students modern tools and knowledge that improve their research skills, critical thinking, and professional preparedness. Additionally, it aligns with the university’s mission of promoting academic excellence through the integration of innovative teaching tools.
