ABSTRACT

The paper provides a more direct presentation to the solutions of some trigonometric integrals utilizing previously derived theorems for Cases 1, 2 and 3. Proof of the aforementioned theorems utilized Abramowitz’s and Stegun’s Binomial Series and other derived series identities for powers of tangent and cotangent functions. The study may serve as basis for the generalizations of the solutions to other problems, specifically Case 4. The theorems and corollaries presented can be used to evaluate trigonometric integrals in general. Since the method and proof are algorithmic in nature, a computer program may be generated from the results of the study to further ease the mathematical solution of these trigonometric integrals.
