ABSTRACT

The main objective of this study was to determine the degree of awareness of the employees regarding the dissemination and application of research findings within the University of Baguio. It identified which dissemination and utilization strategies were commonly applied in the Institution. Data was collected from 144 employees who were randomly selected. Findings show that the research dissemination method the respondents are most aware of is the written form; that is, findings are disseminated via the UB Research Journal, the UB R&DC’s Research Findings Compendium and on posters displayed on campus. In terms of research findings utilization, the employees perceive that the knowledge derived from researches is mostly used as springboard for conduct of related studies. The devised action plan is recommended for adoption to improve the research dissemination and utilization strategies of the University and bolster the research culture in the University.
