The R&DC’s Orientation of its Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Research schemes is conducted during the first month of the school year to orient students who are enrolled in their thesis or research subjects  to be properly guided in the phases and process of research requirement that includes tool validation, ethics review and data gathering procedures. The first part of the session is addressed to student research process and followed by the research policies particularly to university employees. The R&DC provided an updated procedure, guidelines, and incentives to UB employees in conducting research in the University.

The feedback from the respondents highlighted the importance and steps, particularly in the ethics and tool validation review process. Some mentioned the institutional research forms required, flow charts during defenses, and RDC requirements and policies. The orientation however assists the researchers in their foregoing studies.
