ABSTRACT
The milieu of this study was the City of Baguio. Participants were the drivers, operators, and drivers/operators of the different public utility vehicles in the locale. This research was conducted to unravel the actual assessment and perceptions of the respondents towards the prevailing traffic schemes and practices in the City. This descriptive-survey study utilized a questionnaire as the main instrument to gather the pertinent data. The findings obtained suggest that the respondents manifest relative satisfaction over the current implementation of certain traffic schemes. Nonetheless, with an earnest aspiration to improve the traffic condition, the respondents have offered several suggestions such as refurbishment of traffic lights and signages; strict and impartial enforcement of traffic rules and regulations; improvement of parking/loading zones; relocation or removal of specified loading/ unloading and staging areas; and construction of additional infrastructures.
