UBLES outreach program empowers kindergarten pupils at Dona Nicasia J. Puyat Elementary School

In a heartwarming display of community engagement, the University of Baguio Laboratory Elementary School (UBLES) Outreach Coordinator, in collaboration with the Office of the Student Affairs (OSA), orchestrated a benevolent outreach initiative at Dona Nicasia J. Puyat Elementary School. The event, held on April 6, 2024, catered to 54 eager kindergarten pupils, surround them in a day filled with education, healthcare, and nourishment.

Gracing the occasion were not only the dedicated staff and teachers from UBLES but also esteemed alumni, as well as the esteemed candidates for Mr. and Miss University of Baguio 2024 and other staff and teachers from the offices and schools of University of Baguio.

The activities designed to enrich the young minds included engaging story-telling sessions and creative art activities, fostering imagination and cognitive development among the children. Additionally, crucial discussions on medical and dental care were conducted, emphasizing the importance of health and hygiene from an early age.

Moreover, the outreach program extended a compassionate hand through a feeding program, ensuring that the young learners were nourished both in mind and body.

This collaborative effort underscored the University of Baguio’s commitment to holistic education and community service. By reaching out to the Dona Nicasia J. Puyat Elementary School, UBLES demonstrated its dedication to nurturing future generations and fostering meaningful connections within the local community.
