ABSTRACT

The researcher conducted the study to enhance the learning process inside the classroom. The purpose of this research is to: 1) investigate the performance of Allied Medical Sciences freshmen in using anatomical terms; and 2) evaluate the effect of intervention schemes. After a pretest administered to 30 Allied Medical Sciences students enrolled in Anatomy and Physiology I, the students were subjected to some interventions like vocabulary-building, demonstration and group dynamics. After the intervention, the students were given a post-test. The scores from the two tests were compared using the T- test formula. The results indicate that there is a significant difference in the pretest and post- test scores.
